Suprema-D® is a highly bioactive form of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 (25-OH-D3) designed to enhance broiler health, productivity and performance. Unlike standard Vitamin D3, which requires liver conversion to become active, Suprema-D bypasses this step, enabling more efficient uptake and a quicker conversion to 1,25-OH-D3.

Greater bioavailability and bioefficacy result in improvements in growth rates, immunity, bone strength and reduced mortality. Particle homogeneity enables even distribution in feed, and product thermostability ensures limited activity loss during storage and processing.

What is 25-Hydroxyvitamin-D₃?

25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 (25-OH-D3) is a bioactive form of vitamin D that plays a crucial role in calcium and phosphorus balance, supporting bone health, immune function and overall growth in broilers. It’s not like standard vitamin D3 because it’s already in its active form.

Intestinal absorption

25-OH-D3 is more efficiently absorbed in the intestine compared with standard vitamin D3 due to its hydrophilic nature. This ensures higher bioavailability and is particularly effective for compromised or immature immune systems.
